Peracutus B.V. was founded in 2013, based on the interest and amazement about the fundamentals of life. Peracutus believes that real added value and innovation comes by looking at matter with understanding and sufficient depth, followed by hard labour. The passion for science and for people is the driving force behind its business.
This passion is expressed in the symbol of the gyroscope which has to keep moving to stand, as is innovation and life.
Peracutus is based on the integration of imagination, inspiration, illumination and realization. Imagination is the basic process to create new ideas. Inspiration is important to transfer the spirit to others. Illumination refers both to the transformation of question to answer, and on the other hand to a learning process. Realization means focus and result driven.
As the result of brainstorming sessions a new concept emerged to measure the volume of an object, e.g. a limb or a small, local part of a limb. Meanwhile, Peracutus has patented a volumetric measuring method, which functional principle goes back to Archimedes. Working closely together with the Dutch company D-Sight a huge effort was done to convert the measuring principle into a working device: the Peracutus Aqua Meth.
